I got a lot of nice mini pumpkins from my garden this year. I grew the little 4 inch "Jack-Be-Little" variety. I wonder if the "Trick or Treaters" would appreciate getting a little pumpkin instead of candy from us this year.

I think it would be fun. I leave my pumpkins out all the way through Thanksgiving.

Did you give out the mini pumpkins? Did the kids like them?

As a parent I would like it as it seems like my kids always get a lot of candy that we wind up throwing out.

I really should NOT even ask this question but just can't help myself!

How big do these mini pumpkin plants get?

I will confess my delicata winter squash DID grow in my pots although the BIGGEST one is probably still less than 6" long!   But I keep finding new things to attempt in pots.

I was able to keep from trying to find any corn to grow in pots, and stuck with peas instead of trying for pole beans, but have had luck with summer squash and cucumbers, so maybe these  mini pumpkins would work.

You could do some mini-pumpkins in a largish pot. We had a "baby boo" growing in one of those wooden barrels. THey are cute little white pumpkins but they have little orange ones too. and soem that are white with orange stripes. We just let the vines trail on the ground.
