But when I suggested an apron as one of the projects for my little "class" of beginning seamstresses, they all turned a thumbs down since NONE of them wear aprons anymore! (I did say they could all make one for ME! I DO use aprons.)

DH wears an apron quite often as he's the main cook. I'll toss one on if I'm making something particularly messy.
