I agree totally.  I love scents as well.  If I had more time, I would be more active in aromatherapy.  But to assume that everyone is going to admire your choice of fragrance is as irritating as the loud vehicles that pull up beside you with their music vibrating all the cars surrounding them! 

Evidently the irritation is becoming more common though, because many places that I have worked, request "fragrance free" environment.  My concerns also involve allergies.  I frequently end up sneezing!

Almost all of my doctors' offices are scent free zones...but people still smell like hairspray and deoderant and the soap they washed with and their shampoo. (Better that than being stinky, I guess.) But it is posted in almost every office now...
