I dust first so the dust falls to the floor then I vacuum it all up while I'm doing the floors.

So do I, but know people who insist that the vacuuming stirs up dust so you should dust AFTER!!

Got so much dust here, I couldn't prove or disprove either theory!

Well the vacuum does throw alot of air out the back but dust & dirt are pretty much the same thing so how do those people explain that?
But being my eco friendly self I just use a wet soapy rag to dust with. When the rag gets covered in dust I rinse it out & go dust some more. So my dust doesnt have a chance to fly LOL.
I cant stand those dust grabber gloves, swipes, brush things. I was helping my Mom clean her house one day and she had me using those dark things are yes her dust was flying all over the place ugh.

I do basically the same thing...without the soap, unless there is something spilled on a surface. Just a damp rag.....with an occasional waxing ib between times.
