OK... I really need help deciding where my bagua is positioned.

I have loaded my floor plans into a picturetrail album- please some see:
http://www.PictureTrail.com/gid4864094

So my front door opens into the craft/play room which is obviously my Career area. My livingroom is in the Skills & Knowledge corner and has an extended area. The computer room falls into the Travel & Helpful People corner.

Then I start to get a little confused.
Is my laundry room part of the bagua or is that an extended area? My feelings tell me that my laundry room is an extension. But I would like some opinions on the matter- because if the bagua truly extends to include this room then I am missing the Family, Prosperity and Relationship areas!!! Not a good thing.

However, if the back wall of the sink area, bathroom wall and porch are the top end of the bagua then I am not dealing with quite such large missing areas.

Any and all feedback appreciated!

Autumn

Hi Autumn, and welcome to the board! Wow - that's a very unusual layout. IMHO, you seem to have an extension off the back (the Laundry Room) and two lost areas: the front and left sides.

The extension can be treated with a separate ba gua; just make sure it 'faces' the same direction as the main house.

If you were to draw dotted lines to enclose the lost areas, thereby creating a full rectangle around your layout, then divide that rectangle into nine segments, you'll be able to see how your ba gua lies over the floorplan. It's often easier to work with square or rectangular segments than wedges of the octagon.

Does this help?

I am happy that you agree that the laundry room seems to be an extension... that was my feeling also. Thanks for your input. I can now go ahead and draw the baqua on my floor plan and start thinking of some cures. For now we are concentrating on decluttering before anything else.

Thanks so much!

Autumn
