Feng Shui at Home

My front door is North according to Black Hat, but Northeast according to the actual compass direction. How do I align the Flying Star positions--by Black Hat or compass???

Also, my house sits at a slight angle (about 30 degrees) on the lot rather than perpendicular to the street. The lot itself is at the top of a T junction (the other road slopes down toward me), but again, slightly angled so that neither the lot or house directly face the road (a shar arrow, right?)

Does the position of my house on the lot affect the bagua of the lot???

Let's clarify something: Black Hat doesn't focus on compass directions.

Flying Stars is more aligned with Compass School.

Which are you trying to follow? Pick one method and stick with it, at least until you decide whether or not to try another method.
