Slight confusion here. Our front door faces West with a slight angle toward the north. Should I place the Bagua over my sketch and turn both until W on the bagua is where it belongs in relation to the actual way my house faces? Or, should I place the Bagua over each room indifidually, with it lined up with the entrance to the rooms and disregard the "real" N,W,S, E compass points for each room?????

Yep, I'd say there's a bit of confusion, but that's normal. First, you have to decide whether you're going to follow the Compass School or Black Hat. We follow the Black Hat method on this board, but I follow Compass.

With Black Hat, you look at your front door from the outside and determine whether it falls on the left, center or right. The ba gua is always determined by the placement of the front, or main, entrance to your home.

With Compass School, you taks a magnetic reading of your front door while standing inside and looking out. North will be Career.

Make sense?
