Best color for dog's bedding

Hi,Alysia:
Thanks for the info about the dog bed. At least I didn't ask about a good color for a doggie *snuggly*, but then, that's my husband's issue (we also have a miniature poodle).
We're changing rooms for several reasons. First off, we're closing on this house that we've been living in for the past 10 years. The kids are all gone, so we are making some major structural changes to the house.
We will actually be going *back* to the room (NW in BTB/N in Compass) we were first using when we moved in here. North is actually a more favorable spot for both my hubby and myself as we are both East group people. Plus, our furniture is large and won't be so crowded as this is the largest bedroom.
The current bedroom (S in BTB/W & SW in Compass)was a kid bedroom, but we took over since it is right next to the bathroom. We're getting older, have to get up in the night, shorter distance, you get the picture. ;)
We are blowing off our current bedroom completely and transforming it into a new, much larger kitchen. Minimal plumbing is involved since the new kitchen will be sharing a wall with the bathroom. Don't worry, the entrance to the bath is off the hall, not in the kitchen--already know about that one, plus it violates a lot of codes for loans.
Our current kitchen (SE BTB/SE & S Compass)--which I hate because it is a pain to get into and has no cabinet or counter space--will become a small office/computer area as well as a new staircase up to the attic where I want to make a nice little craft area for me. The laundry will go under the stairs--again another wet wall with the bathroom, so minimal plumbing changes. Both my husband & I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, and the "one-butt" kitchen we have now is very frustrating to work in. Even though it has a sunny window, I just hate being in there because it is so cramped. No where to put the gadgets that we actually use or the ones we'd like to use more. I have to move the breadmaker or dehydrator to the top of the washer to use them because that's the only place that has a plug that can be reached. Arrrrrgh!
The remaining bedroom (W BTB/NW & W Compass) will become a library and occasional guest room. My husband and I are both magicians, so we have an extensive collection of magic books and other paraphenalia. I like to keep it all contained in one space as it has a really bad tendency to spread to other parts of the house. Our "general information" books are kept elsewhere in the house.
Hope that answers your question. If you have others, please post.
Thanks again,
Jane
