1. What did you dream of being when you were a little child? === when i was 9, I wanted to be a grey lady in the hospital, one of those who wheeled the magazine and book cart from room to room! I had high expectations! LOL

2. Did this change when you were between the ages of 12-13? === by then I was aiming at famous research scientist

3. Or when you were a young adult? === depends on what you mean by "young" but by the time I was out of college, I was wanting to teach college

4. Did you follow along one of the career paths you considered? === eventually I ended up teaching community college but not before I tried corporate work

5. Have you changed careers since then? By choice or necessity? === indeed. I started out teaching at the university I graduated from, then got a job working as an in-house environmental consultant, then went back to teaching at community college. All changes were by choice, brought on by geographical moves and (in teh consulting job) by burn-out...

1. What did you dream of being when you were a little child? I wanted to own a horse ranch with my best friend at the time.

2. Did this change when you were between the ages of 12-13? I wanted to be a fighter pilot or a bookstore owner. LOL

3. Or when you were a young adult? When I was a young adult I was in business classes.

4. Did you follow along one of the career paths you considered? Nope. I am happily a stay at home mom with dreams of midwifery in the future.

5. Have you changed careers since then? By choice or necessity? I chose to stay home although with four kids now it is a necessity as well.

Being a First Lady, paediatrician, pilot, surgeon, stewardess, architect, concert pianist, lady who lunches.

2. Did this change when you were between the ages of 12-13?
No, not really. Okay, I didn't want to become a First Lady anymore.

3. Or when you were a young adult?
By then I had crossed off paediatrician, surgeon and concert pianist.

4. Did you follow along one of the career paths you considered?
No, but I did work closely with architects and interior designers when I was an art consultant and procurement consultant.

5. Have you changed careers since then? By choice or necessity?
I've changed careers many times by choice. Some people can do many different things at once and hats off to them. I am interested in many things, but since I am neither super-ambitious not an over-achiever I need to focus on one thing at a time.
