Quiz: Should You Move?
Should you pack up and move to a new house, or just remodel the one you're in?
Take the quiz to help decide your next step

How funny! I have no immediate desire to move (made the last question a real issue as there was no right answer for me) but this is what the quiz told me:

The answer is simple: Go!

Your foot is practically out the door. Whether this move is a long time coming or it was prompted by sudden life changes, the time is right for you to sell your home. If you need to sell quickly, take heart, the process for "motivated sellers" can be as quick as a month from listing with an agent to signing the documents. But don't sell yourself short! Be patient and get a sale price you won't regret. In these cases, especially, the right agent can make all the difference.

I didn't take the quiz, but we're in the midst of a cross-country move for my job. I am already out on the west coast working, and we will be selling the house in MA and having the family join me here next summer, after DS graduates from high school.

Wow, Steve! I bet you will miss MA but I wish you luck on the west coast! I liked out couple of decades there quite a bit...

You are a Red Light

For now at least, stop your plans for moving because according to this quiz, you really love your home! Ask yourself whether you need to move, or whether you're just getting antsy. Maybe a makeover with a new coat of paint could bring back that loving feeling? Remember, even the greatest of relationships need space from time to time. So perhaps a temporary change of address would do you good -- maybe a long vacation or even a house swap? Several reputable agencies facilitate home swaps (both foreign and domestic). But for now, keep your Home Sweet Home.

Could have fooled me! We NEED a bigger place. We live in a condo and I hate multiple family living.  I want my own yard and to not have to worry about tippy toeing around the house at night.
