Well, I haven't had time to be on the board as much as I want, but I am making at least a little progress.
The nursery is painted, new ceiling light hung, crib put together and we are starting to get the room organized.
I had an ultrasound on Wednesday, and the placenta previa has corrected itself!!! I also had the routine 28-week blood work done, including the gestational diabetes test. The GD test came back perfect, but the other blood work showed that my iron levels are low. So now I need to get some iron supplements to get those levels back up to where they should be.
I've been sorta keeping up on the laundry... it's all been getting washed, but I'm having trouble finding the energy to get it all put away. DH has been helping out with trying to keep the dishes done.
I also finished creating a coffee-table style wedding album for a client, and ordered a sample album for myself. I have uploaded the digital images if the pages for her to view and approve, and then I'll order her copy of the book.
Over the next few weeks, I'm going to work on restructuring my pricing and packages for my photography business. I want to have new pricing in effect for the new year. My current pricing model has a "sitting fee" and then prints are purchased separately, but there are sometimes problems with people deciding that they don't really need to order prints right away (if ever)... especially at weddings since they get the digital images that all of their friends took, they are less inclined to buy a lot of prints from us. My new pricing model will be a full package purchased up front that includes my base fee to cover my time, and the number of prints (& other products) that they will get. It will make things so much easier, and it will help to eliminate the issue of clients who wait months (or even years) to order their prints).
So, lots of stuff happening, and tons of things still to do! Hope everything is going well for everyone!
