I had posted this over in the Organizing board, but it makes more sense here, since I am a flybaby (though barely fluttering).

This link has pics of my garage makeover, and check out the second post in the thread where I put a PDF showing side by side Before and After pictures of our progress to date. :)

Y'all will recognize the CHAOS of the before pictures and I am sure you will recognize that they never would have seen the light of day were it not for having in progress pictures. We are now done with the work we will be doing on the inside (added epoxy floor, insulation, drywall, paint) for the moment.

Next step: Unpacking the POD and organizing what is left! We picked up some white plastic shelving units and clear tubs with blue lids this weekend to get started. I'll post a few more pics when we are completely done, but that will be in a few weeks (15 minutes at a time, right?).

I am so excited! I feel like I am on one of those Clean Sweep shows!

OMG MRSMARIEH!!! That is absolutely wonderful! I am truly jealous! I wish I could do something like that but we don't have 'pods' around here that I know of. I do have my garage drywalled and insulated but it never got the mud & tape on it. If I stick around long enough or get into the 'just do it' myself mode I might tackle it a bit at a time.

Would you believe that your garage was absolutely spotless compared to my basement? I can't wait to see the finished pics!

btw...where did you find to set up your blog at?

Keep up the awesome work! (Then you can come help me in my basement;) )

Thanks! It has been a lot of hard work, but I just love how it is coming together.

You might actually have pods in your area. You can go to pods.com to check for sure.

We haven't started on the basement yet. It will be coming. But hey, 15 minutes at a time makes progress! (though I have to admit, I prefer working in 30-60 minute blocks for greater impact on these projects).

My basement and entire house is going to get cleaned via getting a storage shed and moving everything into it and then going through all of the boxes and getting rid of what I don't need and putting the rest in a new place. Things have been incredibly bad here and it's time to move toward a better life. My husband will love how great the house is looking but unless someone sees me in different places, he won't have a clue as to what I am doing.
