After an 'oops' last cycle, and both of us being rather dissapointed when nothing eventuated, Ian and I sat down and decided that we may as well actively try for a baby.
Neither of us are getting any younger (me at 35 and him at 43), and waiting the year or two to get married first could just be that year or two too long. Particularly since I was tested a couple of years ago when my cycle was doing funny things, and based on my personal results was warned I actually don't have long - I'm under doctors orders to only try for 3-4 months before starting checking out intervention needs, as opposed to the usual 12 months.
SOOO if anything DOES change on the sign line - KEEP IT QUIET ON FB!! My I-Villiage friends will know, but not IRL, particularly since I'm likely to find out this cycle while my Dad is overseas - a bit unfair for everyone else to find out before he does! How to kill a father-daughter relationship!
