since the last nice day has passed its time for me to clean up my outdoor pens. i need to bring in their pools, logs, and other accessories. its sad to think that i have to wait until late may/june for them to be outside again! they all are sleeping a lot more now and are not as active. their appetites have also taken a dive, which is normal.
It sounds like it's a bittersweet ritual to go through each year. The holidays are coming which is fun, but all of your little guys are getting into their winter mode so I can see why it would be sad, too. Once spring rolls around again, though, it will seem like winter went by in the blink of an eye!
