Vacations & Trips

Hi All, I am new to this board but not new to the Village. I am a travel junkie and when I saw this board I knew I wanted to join in on the fun!

I am a realtor, married, and live in Austin, TX. My husband and I have traveled to quite a few states in the 5 years that we have been married but there are still so many that I want to see. (Dying to go to Seattle, Savannah, and the state of Maine) We just returned from a trip to Tennessee and North Carolina where we visited Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and then drove thru Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on our way to the Great Smoky Mountain Nat'l Park and Asheville, North Carolina. It was all just gorgeous and the fall color was nothing short of spectacular!

Last year we went to France and I am hoping we can make it to Italy and Greece sometime within the next two years. Heck, if I had my way we would just quit our jobs, sell everything and be traveling gypsies for a couple of years! ;)

Welcome to the board, Patti! I'm in the Chicago area and travel alot for my family business. Mostly that travel is during the summer. I do get down to Texas once a year, to Dallas for the Irish Festival in March.

I hope you will post about any and all of your trips, recent, future and past. Please feel free to post any photos you have in the next folder down. There are also plenty of pics to look at from some of the others, so enjoy!
