What brought you to iVillage andwhen? I was trying to follow the Flylady routines etc and had been to a couple of message boards but never felt completely part of them. I stumbled onto iVillage by doing a search for clutter and lurked on the board for a while before posting - think it was back in March 2002
What made you want to be a Community Leader? From the moment I plucked up the courage to make my first post I felt welcomed and part of the "family" - and that is why I was happy to take on the CL job when I was asked to, I wanted to give something back and be supportive to others on the board, and that's why i took on the other two boards as well
What advice would you give to a new Community Leader? Be yourself, welcome new members and try and get the conversation going - even when you have times when it feels you are just talking to yourself! Ask open-ended questions so hopefully you will get a reply :-))
