Scrapbooking

Okay ladies, let's get a little convo going here. 

What have y'all been up to lately?  Any scrapping?  Any other craft stuff going on?

Let's hear it!

I've been scrapping on a fairly regular basis.  My Happy Place is open for crops at least once a week and I'm there if at all possible.  This past Saturday we celebrated her 1 yr anniversary in business with an all day crop.  Had a lot of fun, as usual and won a couple nice little prizes.

As for what I have been doing there....... well, I am working on all sorts of layouts.  I have done some of the kids when they were born and just after, some of our vacation last summer (that would be 2008) and some of my nephew and future nieces engagement party.  Here at home I have been keeping up with the things I make for our business.  Yesterday I finished up about 60 pic-folios for Dave to take to Novi, Michigan for a show this weeked.  I have some other papercrafting things that I have been making too.  I'll have to get some pictures taken and posted soon. 

Next weekend we are having what Dave is calling a "Gallery Day"  We usually have an Open House in November, but he decided to change things this year and have two single days where people can come and do a little shopping.  This year I am going to have a little table of things I made, some cards and other papercrafted items.  Maybe some mini-albums and such.  So I really need to get to work on getting some things together for that.  There will be the one next Saturday and then one in November too.

The other thing that I have in the works is that I am planning to open an Etsy store.  I have it registered, but that is about all.  I'll let y'all know when I have it opened so you can see what I am selling, or at least trying to sell.  I'm hoping it will work out and I will at least sell a few things here and there.  I know people who have done great on Etsy and others who have totally bombed.  It is very inexpensive, so I figure it is worth a try.

That's a quick update on what is going on in my little scrapping/crafting world.  How about yours?

Your welcome Amy, I try, but things are just pretty darn slow right now. There are a lot of people with a lot on their plates.

I have talked to Mary and last I heard, her Mom was doing very well, up around, cooking etc. But they hadn't seen the oncologist yet or had her PET scan, so they don't really know what is in store.  I guess things are pretty slow in her neck of the woods.  Mary is still pretty overwhelmed with everything that is going on.  She is hoping to be back home with in the next couple weeks though.  Hopefully that will happen and she will be able to be home and relax for a bit.
