Believe it or not I didnt see any bathrooms in all those links that I'd love to have!!!
I love old world style! Real solid wood with detailed hand carvings mixed with mable, grantie, slate, wrought iron, textured walls, chandeliers........
If I ever win the lottery I'll have an old world style house, everything from the driveway to the to the ceilings.
Heres an "old world style" bathroom (so they say). I love the style but I'm not crazy about any of the colors. I'd go with a rich oak or cherry wood look with lots of scroll work and wrought iron fixtures to begin with. Then I'd have to play with flooring, window coverings & decor.

But you need such a BIG room for that style, don't you think? And most people don't have bathrooms that large...

I rather like the ones in slides 2 and 6. Not a fan of pedestal sinks (we have one in our powder room and there is NO storage) and those dark tiled walls in slide 4 really turned me off (not a fan of "DARK bathrooms --- our Master bath is dark...). But I do like the looks of the furniture in the Kenneth Brown design (6) and the very modern sink styles in slides 2, 10,11 and 12.

Hi Carol,

Yes I would need a really big room for that bathroom, maybe some day HA HA.
I dont like pedestal sinks either, old fashioned is my style. Is your powder room just a toilet & sink (guest bath) or is it one you use daily? If its a guest bath I wouldnt worry about storage since you only need the basics in there such as a small bottle of hand soap, a pretty hand towel & of course some toilet paper. If its a bathroom that you use daily I'd either pull that sink out and put some sort of vanity in, or how about a nice shelf over the toilet like this one.........
