Hello all, my name is Tammy and I was wondering if there would be room for one more on your board?

I am a 30 year old wife, mother and cosmetologist. My dh and I have been married for 4 years now and we have an 11 year old dd. I know the years seem off so let me explain: almost 12 years ago I married my first husband. I got pregnant and that is where my dd comes in. In May 2003 I finally could not stand being married to him anymore so I left, it took until November 2004 for my divorce to go through. During this time I had gotten with my current husband and we were getting really serious. So in September of 2005 we got married. In May 2006 my ex-husband gave his rights up to my dd and the adoption went through in October of the same year. Sorry that was a little long but thats how my dh of 4 years is the father of my 11 year old dd.

We dont exactly live in the suburbs so is it ok that I be apart of this board? We live outside a small town in southern Indiana. So needless to say we are country folk. We own 7 acres out in the country and we love it. It is part of my dh's grandpas farm which is approximately 150 acres or so.

So glad you've joined us. Is your daughter a cheerleader? One of my daughters did cheerleading for a while. Then she ended up in a play and had to give up the cheerleading in order to be at play practice every day.

Angel used to be a cheerleader but since that siggy was made she has left the public school system and is now homeschooling. I have been asking my dh if he would put photoshop on my computer (I had it on my old one) so I can make a new siggy but he has yet to do that. OH well, hes a man, lol.

So how old are your girls? Where are you from? What exactly goes on here on the board? Basically between work and home I dont have a lot of time in my day to visit and be with friends so I love the online thing. I feel it gives me a chance to connect with other people, share stories, give advice and just be there with a shoulder to lean on.
