She didn't say this, but I had the impression that if she wasn't sick, he would've been out on his ass. The first betrayal was bad enough - at first he told her it was basically a one-night stand. Later, she found out he was still sleeping with the OW after he told Elizabeth it was over. She said they had just started to rebuild trust when she found out he was still lying and now she doesn't know if she'd ever completely trust him again.

I had read some articles about the interview ahead of time that left me with a very negative impression of her. Once I saw the full interview, I had a lot more respect for her.

I can't imagine being in the position she's in - terminal cancer, worrying what will happen to her kids, and finding out your husband isn't the guy you thought he was.

Not sure "It doesn't matter" whether the baby is his ---- is a good statement. Well, of COURSE IT MATTERS!!!!! Even if you're going to die. It is important whether it is or not! That's really the only thing that sorta makes me disrespect her.

I have a feeling she is struggling to put one foot in front of the other. That baby is NOT a part of her future, or life. Let's say just for the sake of argument, DNA proves that JE is the father. I doubt the mother will allow the baby to visit the Edwards home. It would be JE's fight. Not Elizabeth's.

My now EX had a baby with his girlfriend. While we were married. That baby is now 32? years old. He was never a part of my life. Never. We were divorced when baby was about 3 months old. He was never a part of my childrens life. I get what Elizabeth is saying.
