I have a few orchids,,, and yesterday I went to the gardeners/nursery as they were having a video course on how to replant and save your poor little overgrown orchids.     It was fun and I learned a lot.   They frequently have these video courses and I go from time to time when  when it looks interesting and when I'm in town.    I enjoyed my time there yesterday. Something different for sure.

Does your garden center offer these also? Ever watched one, learned something... just wondering  

No, I don't hear of any videos courses offered at our garden centers. There is one that has a 5 minute segment on tv on Saturday mornings and an hour on radio though. Nice idea, glad you got to go! I hope it does help you save your orchids. Let us know!

We planted our pansies last Saturday. We got ones that are black (actually very dark purple, but look black) centers, then yellow, then burgundy edges. So cute and pretty and the colors look great with our fall theme we did on our porch too. It will go well with Christmas colors too. If we keep them watered throughout the winter, they should keep on blooming. I've had good luck with them before. I'll have to cover them with a heavy ice storm though.

We also trimmed bushes, raked leaves, tidied up the beds in general, and husband swept down the whole front of the house from one end to the other and as far up as he could reach. Hope the spiders don't come back anymore now!

You were very busy beavers; must feel great to have all that work out of the way,, plus now you have those darling pansies to peek at,, I love pansies, they are just so sweet.. the ones you chose are especially cheerful.... 

I wish my local garden center have those.  My poor orchids need to be resuscitated.
