Name 5 places/spaces in your home that you love to be.

(could be a special chair, a cozy corner or room..etc )

1)  Right here at my laptop/computer desk, which is in my kitchen.

2)  Sitting in my comfie chair on my back, screened-in porch, especially in the spring and fall, when it's not too hot/cold.  That's where I do most of my reading.

3)  My beautiful (IMHO...lol) formal living room, because it's *always* neat and clean (since it's rarely used)

4)  Standing at my kitchen counter/sink/stove, because I *love* to cook.

5)  In my den/family room, watching TV or reading or whatever....it's a "lived-in" room, and has a very cozy feeling.

Well, I bet you know what my first place is, LOL!

1. At my kitchen table (50+ years old, handed down from my mom), surrounded by my beautiful new kitchen!
2. In my comfy green recliner
3. In my comfy bed
4. In my computer chair (also mighty comfy), connecting with friends!
5. On my little deck (in season), in my bouncy metal "retro" lawn chair (another hand-me-down from Mom) with a book and a Diet Coke. (...is it retro if it's authentically old?) 

Yes! After 30 years of cheap, dark cabinets, we went all out and replaced the cabinets with custom made, light oak cabinets that match my maple table; a new color on the walls and new (or revamped) decor on the walls; new floor; new countertops and even tore out a closet to give me a corner unit. Dh did it himself - with a bit of help from one of his brothers a time or two - and it was a mess for a month or two (but felt more like 5 or 6, lol). It was finished in early October, and even after a few months of having it done, I still just adore it!

And I got a new stove (the dishwasher and fridge are next... someday, lol!).
