i did it for 6 months. it was difficult getting started. "latching on" was a hurdle, but we over came it.

i nursed at will. i only nursed on one side per one feeding. puting a ribon in my bra on the side where i wanted to start for the next feeding. moving the ribbon breast to breast help remind me.

once you getting going, i can't say enough for the expierence of bonding.

not to mention, its free, its "portable" lol, and always ready.

i'd say it took about 10 days to get the supply and demand asspect worked out. i did use ice cubes, hot or cold showers, for any swelling or discomfort.

don't give it. its very rewarding. to this day i can see that my daughter has a strong immune system, i'm glad i perserved.
