i wanted to make it official!
so i am going to write down my intention and share it with you all! i was inspired by today's assignment to write down my thoughts and feelings for 10 minutes a day.
i have been working on changing my sleep pattern, working toward a reasonable bedtime in hopes of being able to get up earlier, feeling good and ready to face a new day. i have been going to bed by midnight for almost 2 weeks and am almost ready to make the change to 11.30 p.m. i thought i would start getting up earlier by now, but i am still sleeping late. i figure i must have lost a lot of sleep staying up late, so i have to make it up. if i don't soon start getting up earlier, i will have to work on that, too.
i have also been working on my eating plan and have been successful in finding a plan that seems to be good for me. now i need to work on eating on a more consistent schedule. when i first get up, i don't feel like eating right away, so when i get up late, i often don't start eating until noon. then i feel like i need to eat a lot, at least breakfast and lunch, so that i am not eating all night!
i tried to start exercising in October and was doing well for a while, but now i have stopped again. i got exercise DVDs and videos for Christmas--tai chi and walking, but have tried only one. i hope that when i start getting up earlier, i will have more time to exercise, too.
there, i have spent 10 minutes writing today. i will save this to my word processor and work alone from now on.
thank you for the motivation to write. i believe that it will help me figure out what changes need to be made next and allow me to see the progress that i am making.
and to really make it official, i am going to make a ticker for my siggie! lol
