Yes, that's right..November 2nd is National Deviled Egg Day!!

1) Do you like them?

2) Do you make them?

3) If you make them, do you have a special dish that you serve them on?

4) Would you eat them year round or just consider them a summer food?

Please expand on your answers a bit. ;)

Yes, that's right..November 2nd is National Deviled Egg Day!!  Never heard of such a thing!!

1) Do you like them?  Yep!

2) Do you make them?  Occasionally. I'm the only one who likes them in my house. BUT my side of the family likes them so we always have them at the big family gatherings.

3) If you make them, do you have a special dish that you serve them on? No.

4) Would you eat them year round or just consider them a summer food? I'll eat them any time I find them.  Funeral dinners at church always have them!

Please expand on your answers a bit. ;) I tried.

1) Do you like them? Yes, very much!!

2) Do you make them? No, they look like way too much work for me to mess with! I'll gladly eat anyone else's though!

My grocery store deli makes deviled egg potato salad that's quite tasty as it's not too sour or tart. I don't care for sour deviled eggs or sour potato salads. I buy their's sometimes and add a bit of fresh mayo to it.

3) If you make them, do you have a special dish that you serve them on? I used to have a beautiful large hand painted Italian deviled egg platter that was a gift from my first MIL. Sadly, it got broken in one of my moves.

4) Would you eat them year round or just consider them a summer food? I would eat them anytime!

My platter that got broken was similiar to this one in an oval shape......

1) Do you like them? - Yes, very much

2) Do you make them? - Not very often. They are more work than I usually feel like doing for just every day kind of thing.

3) If you make them, do you have a special dish that you serve them on? - No, I just put them on any plate.

4) Would you eat them year round or just consider them a summer food? - I'll eat them any time I find them somewhere.

Good job on expanding!! LOL!! Photobucket

True, any kind of church carry in dinner or family buffet dinner, someone usually makes them. That's the only time I get them too.
