Dh took me to my accupuncture / injection this morning at 9. With that finished around 10, we went off to buy a present for the gal we were to visit at 2pm. We were a bit rushed as dh also had a doctor's appointment at 11. So we decided to buy a plant. Went in the garden center... saw a real pretty arrangement of a glass vase about 12 " in diameter and 14" high and in it was an amarylis with some moss and red dried things in it,, very cute, very pretty , early for XMAS but still will be nice when the bulb blooms and fun to watch all through advent. So we bought that, stopped to get it wrapped , and then dh said wait here I'll go get the car (it was raining). So I hold the arrangement and wait. He pulls up and he has the small car with 2 doors, so I pull the front seat forward and put the arrangement on the floor of the back seat. Fit really well back there so I was happy . All excited that we are on time I slam the seat back to get in, and Crack! The glass broke into many small pieces..... what a totally D'OH moment that was.
OK so I took it back in the store and they replaced the vase for free (wonders never cease),,, and we were much more careful the next time...
