Hi Ruth, love the thread! Glad someone is around.... ;O)
We had similar days. We did yard work to put it to bed for the winter,, dh raked the leaves,, (I can't ), and I put them all in the paper yard bags. Carted that all to our town's yard recycle center and dumped them... then we changed and went to the kitchen place to get something for the kickplates , then out to lunch. After that drove into the city , stopped at the English Gardens adn took a lovely walk viewing the foliage and the river and small waterfalls and then rode right into the old part of the city and sat in our fav cafe and people watched... I had hot chocolate (it's cold here). AFter a bit of window shopping we came on home , had dinner and here I am,,,
So what did you get at the bookstore?????
