Part of the road to recovery is to forgive those who caused the grief if such a person or persons exist. In this case the persons are Al Queda (however you spell it). I don't know that I'm personally there yet. I hadn't thought about it much until I read an incredible book. The title of the book is Left to Tell by Imacullee Illibigazee. Not sure about that spelling either! She survived the Rwandan genocide however her parents and 2 of 3 brothers were killed. The book is about how she survived the genocide and how she survived the grief. She actually was able to forgive the people who committed the acts. I figure if she can forgive that maybe I have a chance to forgive the hijackers. Whew, just writing that feels wrong. I do know that w/o the forgiveness that anger lingers and can eat you up. Another great example of forgiveness is the movie End of the Spear. If any of you have seen it let me know what you thought. It's rentable now.
