I think for those of us that were based in Washington, 9/11 will always be "yesterday." I left American 2 years ago but will always be there in mind and spirit. Two of my best friends moved to CLT and live within minutes of me now and those 2 were the first I needed to be with. I have trouble with society forgetting flt.77 and those amazing people that died that day, but crew members. It makes my heart ache.

Lisa,
I am so glad we are near each other. When the latest terror plot was revealed it was not a good day for me. I was worried about our friends who are still flying. I went into my office and my fellow real estate agents did not understand why I had a look of shock on my face. They just don't get it. That day brought back alot of bad memories. I just had to leave the office after about 30 minutes. Talking to you, and realizing that I was not alone made me feel so much better. Everyone keeps saying it will never happen again. I think we know better. Every September 11 I put little flags around my mailbox. One for every friend and crew member of AA 77 that I lost, and every year I have to explain to my neighbors that it is September 11. When I explain to them about September 11 they say " oh yeah, I forgot". I will not let them forget !!!!
