i just want to know what to expect while am in labour,is it as painful as people say?

Hi there! Congratulations on your first child-are you getting close to your due date? Make sure to discuss all your fears and worries with your doctor as she will be able to give you real, accurate information to help calm your fears.

We do have some messageboards you might want to check out to talk to other women who are either going through this for the first time or have already delivered their first child. Drop by our Labor and Delivery board for some been-there-done-that advice and support and don't forget to join one of our Expecting Clubs where other women such as yourself have joined to discuss their lives as they go through their pregnancies.

As Karla mentioned, the Labor & Delivery board would be a great place to get some support and advice.  The CL there has many years of experience and can answer almost any question you might have.
