Doing good here (except for the allergies, OMG, my head is in a funk)!

DH's new job has started and we are able to finally live on a fixed salary & budget.  Nothing like knowing what your paycheck is going to bills and what the bills are.  The only item that I've not fully paid for (and really don't know what else I owe) is to the vet for taking care of my horse we tried to save.  She still has not told me what I owe, so I'll call her soon.  I had sent her a check for $200 and a sincere thank you note.

Things are going good and the bankruptcy payments continue and will be raising soon due to the increase in salary.  I'm expecting to pay around $95 more dollars a week.  So, basically, all of my salary will be going to the court for the next 4.4 years.  Oh well, it'll be over with soon and all we will owe for is our house.

Life is good (except for allergies, Ah COOOOE!

I'm here, hanging in there.  I don't post often, but lurk often and have gained a lot of knowledge from the board.

I filed Ch 7 in July, had my court date in late August, and am due to be discharged at the end of the month.  It was an exhausting experience, but I'm so glad I did it.  I feel like I've been given a new start in life as a debt free single woman.

I hope everyone else is doing well. :)

I'm around.  I read frequently and post when I feel my knowledge or experience will be helpful.

I'm reestablishing my credit after filing Ch. 7 BK and being discharged in March 09.  My DH and I plan to buy a house in 2 or 3 years.

Just trying to make sure everything gets paid on time...which is sometimes challenging with one income.  We're about 3 weeks behind on our car payment and 1 month on the PG&E (due to high summer bills cuz of a/c usage)...but other than that, doing good on keeping current.

Still chugging along here. I don't post much but check in every few days to see what else I can learn :) We will be filing Ch. 7 in November, we have been waiting because of some charges that were made earlier this year(the attorney advised waiting 6 months)We have slowly been paying him the fees for filing and will send the last little bit at the beginning of next month. I am not happy to be filing BK, but will be glad to finally have some relief and be able to buy food without worrying about what bill will not be paid... I can't wait for this to be over so we can move on with our lives.

I am so grateful that I found this site and have learned a lot from everyone here. Thanks ladies!!

Terri
