  2. Don't spend your change. Just spend your folding money and put all the change in your jar.

I'm in this month. I'm not saving my change for Christmas gifts - at least not this year, but that sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure what I'll be using the money towards but it feels good not to spend the change.

That's true! It always feels good not to spend the change. For me, it feels better than spending it!

I had started out the year saving for Christmas gifts, but I spent most of my savings through August on my day at Universal Studios. Mostly for food and gifts! So, I was happy I had it.

All I have in my Christmas account is the $35 I just added. But, if I save my average $15 this month, that will be plenty for gifts for my friends and maybe something extra for DH.
