Introduction:

Hi requestors! Welcome to the board! We're so glad you decided to come here for your siggie needs!

* Before going forward in this post, please read this thread. By using the form below, you are implying you are aware of that thread and understand it. *

The below request form will help you and us have more clear communication in the requesting process. Sometimes we see things one way, but it might not be what you were thinking for your sig, so we would like to ask that all requests be made as specific as possible.

Below is some copy / paste information that would be helpful for us makers as we work on your sigs. So when you post back in your original request thread (if you've posted already), just copy the 'form" below and fill in the "blanks" (kind of like you'd do on a Friday Five, huh? lol)

Now we realize some of this you may not have a preference, and that's fine. if you don't, please state that in your answers, as well :)

The request process goes as follows:
  • You post in the appropriate place with the information below, after reading this thread.
  • The makers will fill your request and answer any questions you might have along the way...
  • When each maker fills your request, it's courteous to acknowledge their contribution with a 'thanks' ...
  • Note: If you don't like a sig, please don't say you love or even like a sig (or say nothing at all) to spare a maker's feelings. We want you to be happy with your sig, hence this request form. If you'd like specific changes, mention that and the makers can work with you within reason :o) We like to think of ourselves as an approachable bunch, LOL!! Makers around iVillage are not limited to specific boards, so if you say you love something here, and post a request somewhere else days later, likely, the maker you told you loved the sig, is going to see that request. Food for thought :o)

For an explanation behind the questions we
ask in our request form, click here :o)

---- CWG Members Request Form ----
Is there is a certain theme you'd like to use in your sig, such as a holiday, special days, scrappy type sigs, favorite colors, etc ..

- animated, non animated, either?

- what text is a "must" and what text is "optional" --

- what kind of font you'd like (handwriting, script, playful, funky, other, use our own judgement, etc.. you can copy and paste signatures as an example, or point to fonts you've seen from free online font sites to help us with this)

- Do you plan on using a signature rotator? (You can read about it here; If this interests you, read more about it here, and here.)

- If you do not plan on using the rotator, What, if any, links would you like to include in the design to be mapped / clickable? (please include text and links)

- whether you will be using the sig with blinkies (or tags) or not (If you have "follow me" tags, we can make your sig with a mention of said boards, with clickable links, taking away the need for additional tags. Please see about the signature rotator, too.)

- What do you NOT want in regards to your sig design? (ever seen a sig you didn't like the style of? now would be a good time to mention that *g*)

- Do you need new avatars?

Because it cannot be stressed enough:

- Please do not request signatures from multiple sources! The reason we accept multiple theme requests and offer free for all's is so more members can get sigs, not as much as members getting more sigs- although that will happen, too.

If one member emails a number of makers with a request, and / or posts on one or more boards, within a month's time, that takes up a GREAT amount of sig making time by a number of people, and it's just not fair to everyone involved.

Please remember that siggy making is a hobby, and we do not get paid for doing this. We enjoy siggy making a lot and appreciate your patience in regards to the time it takes for a request to be filled. Most of us have families and jobs outside the home that may prohibit us from filling requests as soon as we would like. Again, we appreciate your patience in the matter of time :)
