Pregnant after 40

I woke up this morning and had some spotting which turned into bleeding and some blood clots and mild cramping.  It didn't look good at all.  I went to ER and they ran blood tests and did an ultrasound - they were able to see the little bean and even find a heartbeat - 129 - which is all good.  The baby was measuring to size (a little small) and the doctor said that as long as the bleeding doesn't get very heavy or major cramping, all appears to be well.

It's a relief, but I'm still bleeding like a period, which is very disconcerting. . .

 

Thank you .  Unfortunately the bleeding/clotting and cramping have gotten worse. It's wierd given that there was a heartbeat at noon today.  But the baby was measuring small and my Beta was low, so at this point it feels like I will lose it.  I'm going to take it easy today and tomorrow and see what happens.

Hang in there, little bean. And you too, Mommy. I would be out of my mind with fear, so it's understandable how you're feeling. Please KUP on how you two are doing. I will say a prayer for you tonight.
