Pregnant after 40

I have had 3 HPT all confirming my pg, I am about 6 weeks along. My name is April, and I am the Mother to a 22 year old son and 10 year old boy/girl twins. We recently set about TTC a 4th child (when dh came around and decided we better do it NOW, LOL). I have an EDD of July 3rd, 2010, at which time I will be 42.

Am I nuts? I don't feel it- LOL! I look forward to chatting with other mothers in the same boat, having kids past 40.

Just waiting until my first Midwife appointment next week. It is soooo hard to wait!!

Hi April, congrats!  I love having a baby after 40, she is so much fun now.  The older kids absolutely adore her, she is the light of everyone's eye.  Now the hardest thing to do is make sure she doesn't get too spoiled!
