Do any of you use Chiro care for your allergy kiddos? Seen any results?

A friend swears that hers helped her children with sinus issues and an allergy to cold, but a bit skeptical. We have an appointment in 2 wks and this doc has gotten rave reviews from parents..I checked around.

I would love to hear what you all have for advice!

Thanks, Monica :)

Personally I don't buy it. I am not a fan of chiros. They claim to be dr's even though they only have a 4 year university degree....and I don't believe they have any residency/intern work either. Snapping bones makes me nervous and would not do it for myself and certainly not for my kids either.

It's mostly chiros offering the new BAX-3000 therapy now. I have a friend that works for the company that starated the therapy, so I may be getting to try it. They have already contacted a chiro on my behalf that has the equipment. There are a lot of positive testimonials about chiros and this new therapy. If I get to try it, I will let you know!!! If you want to read about the therapy, the website is www.biovedawellness.com. There are a lot of videos about the therapy as well as testimonial videos available. If I get to try it and it helps me, I will post back here. I will only let my son do it if I find it positive.

Thanks Ladies!

I have used them in the past and had great results as far as how my body feels, but not for allergies per se.  I have done a bunch of research and the spine allignment is working with the immune system, so can help the body to work better over-all.

When it comes to my kids, I am over-protective, especially with Colin since he has so many issues.  On the other hand, after staying away from any form of dairy, eggs and nuts for 4yrs and his allergy getting worse..plus his asthma not being under control with several meds for years, I am looking for some alternatives. We'll see.

Take Care, Monica :)
