Children's Allergies

the other day when his sister had some to dip veggies and there was some left on the plate. He managed to reach the plate from the table when I was not looking. He wiped some of the dressing onto his finger and licked it (although I am not sure how much he actually ingested). He did not have an immediate reaction, but within a few hours he broke out with eczema on his face. There is only egg yolk in ranch dressing, but I guess his allergy is still bad enough that it causes a reaction

I am getting anxious to have his allergy testing done in June

Is he allergic to milk & eggs, or just eggs?  Why do you have to wait until June for allergy testing?

Just eggs. His allergist normally only does testing once a year. He was tested in June of this year, so he has an appointment booked for June 2010. We have socialized healthcare here in Canada - so the only pediatric allergist in our end of town is so busy they book 12-18 months in advance. If I was able to go again I would since he has some new foods since his last test

His eczema was gone by the next day thankfully!!
