Attachment Parenting

we left him with my MIL for the first time on tuesday. i didnt want to because he isnt around her much so i was really worried about it but we didnt have a choice.

usually DH watches him when i go to college tues. and thurs. but this time he had a work emergency and had to leave LO with his mom.

i went over there right after school and when he saw me, he gave me the most heartbreaking look ive ever seen. just thinking about it makes me want to cry! she was holding him and he turned and when he saw me his little face turned red and crumpled and then he started to cry. his face was saying, "hey! where were you? why did you leave me here?"

i took him in my arms and he started trying to nurse through my dress,lol.

tomorrow i have school again and i told DH that i want him to bring him there and stay with him so that he can get more accustomed to her and her house.

the good news is that he wasnt crying while he was with her but she complained that he wants to be held all the time,lol.

Aww. It's hard. (((BIG HUGS)))

The good thing is they usually have a fine time while we're gone. It's definitely harder on us then it is on them.
