Any Educational Websites For The Child?

I love doing puzzles and playing games with the child I work with. But I was wondering if there are any websites the children can log on to and do puzzles or anything educational.

Thanks Lee

Without knowing your child's age, interests and ability, it's a bit hard to suggest a site.

However, I find loads of websites with Google. Try the search criteria +interactive +online +puzzles (or whatever topic) and you'll get loads of hits.

Thank you very much for your response. The child is 13 non-verbal Autistic. He loves watching Thomas The Tank Engine on Youtube and I help him pronounce the titles and writting them out. He loves puzzles and also is very good with matching words with numbers, colors, shapes, and with flash cards etc.

Hi there!

Nice to see you are still working with this boy! I remember you posting about some of your struggles in the past.

Anyway, you might want to check out starfall.com with him. It is intended for the pre- and early reader crowd, but there's lots of stuff that he might enjoy. My son learned a lot from this site, and even though he has "outgrown" it now, he still goes back to it on occasion.

oh....we love starfall.com

also, we just downloaded a web browser called Zac browser. It's for autistic kids. My son loves it...there are all kinds of different games on it...they are geared more for the younger crowd but he may like some of the things on it.
