melissa, i totally share your frustration!! i have the same problem, except my son won't put ANY table food in his mouth. early on, he "accidently" put a cheerio in his mouth (happened twice), and he gagged on it and made himself throw up! he loves when i feed him stages 2s and yogurt, and he tolerates baby cereal, though he usually gags on the first bite or two. he likes to put his spoon and straw cup in his mouth, and loves to look inside the empty bowl or jar when we tell him "all gone". i've tried everything, and he looks at it and will pick it up, but then he leans over and tosses it on the floor...
