I recently made spaghetti and froze it as it was in small gladware containers. When I wanted to use it I take it out and thaw it just a bit and I am able to cut it up super easy b/c it is still in a semi frozen chunk but soft enough to cut. Then I thaw it the rest of the way. I have been mixing in frozen (boilen and chopped) chicken that I thaw as well. Chase loves it. Another thing I have been making is mac n cheese with all different cheeses and cauliflour puree. I make it with the little noodles shaped like small O's (like penne only not long ones, KWIM?) and he loves it too. It is actually a recipe from jessica seinfileds deceptivly delicious book. I am planning to really get into making more pastas because he really likes them. I just wanted to share with you guys. If anyone wants the mac n cheese recipe let me know, I will post how I make it. It is soooo yummy. I love to eat it myself.

Yes, please post the mac and cheese recipe! When Harrison graduated to chunkier food his favorite was bolognese with the tiny star shaped pasta (pastina). It froze really well and was always our "go to" meal for him for dinner.

OK so I am not gonna give exact measurments b/c I just kinda do it...

start by sauteeing (sp?) 2 tbsp margerine and some garlic for a couple minutes. Then add 2tbsp flour (she uses wheat flour). Meanwhile have your noodles boiling. Then add milk about 1/4 cup at a time while letting it thicken a little until you have added a cup. Add in about 3/4 cup or so grated cheese while you are adding the milk (you can sub any other cheese, I made it with part skim ricotta this time and it was soooo yummy) I also added a few slices of american cheese. It should start to be pretty thick. Then add salt and pepper and paprika, like a tsp each or just to taste. She also adds 1/4 cup shredded parmesean. So then mix with your drained cooked noodles. Eat and enjoy. OR put into little containers and freeze.

I hope your LO's like it.
