Maybe this is a stupid question. But can I use frozen veggies to make a pure and then freeze it after?? Or should I just pure as much as I need for the feeding?

There's no stupid question! : )

You can thaw frozen veggies, cook, and puree in batches as long as the veggies have not been previously cooked. Most of the frozen veggies are uncooked so you should be safe. Make sure you check the ingredient labels b/c a lot of the frozen veggies have added salt.

Good luck!

I have heard some people prefer to use frozen. Most of them are frozen when they are fresh and in off season it can be hard to get fresh otherwise. Also, things that have kinda a shell (peas, green beans) were easier to puree from the frozen form (I cook them a bit longer though too).

Also, sometimes... I have a hard time finding time to shop, cook, puree & freeze... with frozen they'll wait in the freezer for me! :)

You sure can! That is all we had available b/c Heidi started solids in the winter so nothing was in season. Cost is also a factor for us so frozen veggies were a lot cheaper for us and IMHO just as healthy. I would steam them, puree, and then freeze into cubes. GL and happy feeding.
