Has anyone made their own yogurt? How did you do it? How did it turn out?

I've read some recipes that don't sound too tough using a starter or plain yogurt.

Nutritionally is it worth it to make my own?

I looked at Yo-Baby in the store but couldn't find any plain yogurt and I would prefer to add puree for flavoring (I've heard less sugar that way).

Thanks in advance for all your advice! :)

I've never made my own but I have read some recipes that seemed a little confusing to me. Super Baby Food has a recipe that I can post a little later.

Yo Baby has a lot of sugar in it, I agree.  I like to give my son the Stonyfield that comes in the larger tub. Usually we give him the french vanilla flavor. It's pretty mild. It also comes in plain and you can add in your own purees.

Here is a post on making your own from www.wholesomebabyfood.com  If it works for you please let me know, maybe I'll try it with my next one!
