I just bought a used Travel Lite P&P and just noticed that it has built in bumpers in the bassinet part. There is a space of mesh between the bumper bottom and the mattress. Do you think that there will be an airflow problem if I use this for the baby- I know that recent studies say that lack of air movement around baby's face can increase the risk of SIDS. I am not due with this baby until November, but any advice/information would be great.

Hi Lisa ... congrats on the new baby!

The mesh insert is intended to address your very concern. It increases airflow around baby, unlike older bassinets without mesh near the bottom. The built-in bumpers shouldn't pose a problem unless they are loose. Loose or too-thick bumpers can smother baby when baby scooches up into them.
