Baby Names

We (Emily&Andrew) are expecting our 2nd baby in early Dec. and looking for non family/friend advice on our names! We have a two year old son Beau Andrew, we had no problem with his name, but are having more trouble this time. It does not help that I am a nicu nurse and see ridiculous/made up/horrible spelled names everyday so I am quite "picky"

For a girl we have decided on Avery Elizabeth/Averi Elizabeth but can not decide which spelling we prefer.  Any opinions?

Boys is a completly different story we are totally lost! Here is our list in no particular order,please comment...middle name will be after a grandfather either Paul or David

Connolly-my maiden name

Henry "Hank"

Keaton

Colemen

Samuel

Finley

Barrett

Miller

McCoy

Oliver

I prefer the Avery spelling.

For a boy, I like several of the names you've listed. But some seem to be a better 'fit' with Beau than others. Keaton and Henry ("Hank") seem to be good sibling names to go with Beau. I am a big fan of the name, Keaton, but Beau and Hank sound nice together.

I'd definitely go w/the Avery spelling for a girl. Averi would just be confusing, & sort of childish looking on a grown up.

Here are my thoughts on your boy list-

Connolly-I think that I like this. Connolly David would be really nice.

Henry "Hank"-Love it! Beau & Hank are such fun cowboy sounding names for brothers. I like Henry David or Henry Paul. Paul's a bit more interesting.

Keaton-This is okay. It doesn't excite me too much. It's very modern sounding. I like more classic names, but that's just my opinion.

Colemen-Oh, I like this, but why not Coleman? That looks more legit.

Samuel-Beau & Sam would be cute. I like Samuel David a lot.

Finley-I love this, but prefer Finlay. It's not really my favorite w/Beau though. It doesn't have the same rugged manly feel.

Barrett-This is cute, but if you could, I'd avoid repeating first initials. It's just a bit too cutesy.

Miller-This is nms, but it's not awful.

McCoy-Kind of cool, but surnames like this are really better if they're actually family names. I like just Coy on its own really.

Oliver-I like this. It's not my favorite w/Beau though.
