We took that big leap and brought a puppy home that happens to speak another language.  : )  While he could be bilingual we are currently switching him to English commands so he's not baffled. rofl

Do you have any pets and if so which language did you teach them commands in, your native language, second or a mix of all?

Our cat understand both German (my native language) and English (My DH's native language). It just depends when we talk to the cat, lol.

Yep, animals can be bilingual too.  : )  We had to start off giving him commands in both languages but are slowly switching over into English for all.  The darn thing is he was doing so well coming when called but now he’s ignoring me.  He still comes when DH & DS calls him but me he just sits there and looks like ‘what’.  Which is not good when you are calling for potty breaks.
