Hi all,

We're looking for some member tips from BTDT moms about being a brand-new mom! If you could fill in the blank, what would you say?

I wish someone had told me ____ about being a new mom (anything on newborn care, new mom care, etc).

It could be about anything - from the lack of sleep to the strange things that happen to our bodies after giving birth. ;) We're working on a few new slideshows for this topic and your help would be most appreciated if you're willing to share.

Thanks so much!

Okay, here's mine.

I wish someone would have told me that lack of sleep would lead me to do things I never thought I'd do- like forgetting to turn the car off before I put gas in it, or putting lotion on my toothbrush instead of toothpaste.  Ooops!

See, I think there are things that people could have told me, but I wouldn't have learned it until after I had children.  There are just some things that take you by suprise that you just can't fathom until you have the kids already.

I guess now that I think about it, I could fill in the blank with "trust your instincts"
