I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who responded to my post ' bi-racial and chronically sick". Davion has been in and out of the hospital, right up until school started and it was really encouraging to hear from all of you. i also want to shout out to " Raynecat"! I grew up in Long Island, and have fam in east new york Brooklyn, and Queens. Where are you from? BTW, your daughter is GORGEOUS!

I have a good friend who lived in Flushing for six years! It's beautiful there, I have only been through a few times years ago. Your daughter is VERY photogenic, I have to try and get pictures of my boys up on here, ( if I can ever figure out how to do it! ha ha ).

My son has been out of school with a G.I. bug, that hopefully will not end him up in the hospital again. He has had a really rough time lately, and spent most of his summer in the hospital. All the nurses love him, they call him a mini "Sean Paul" because he looks just like him and his dad is Jamaican!! We had his hair " locked" up cuz it is so long. He hasn't had a hair cut in four years!!!

It is so nice to find this group, cuz i think we all have somethin' to offer! Thanks for the prayers, cuz we always need them. Davion is facing a kidney transplant at some point, and we have a LONG road ahead of us!
