We're not. Our district used five snow/ice days this year so we'll be going until the 22nd.

Melissa's got a couple of big things coming up: her 8th grade social/dance and then the advancement ceremony (moving from middle school to High School!).

Time flies! Melissa's headed to HS in September. My girlie's growing up. I'll show you just how much after I take photos for her dance. She got her dress in March and we picked up shoes a couple of weeks ago; she is getting her nails done with a friend and I really need to bring her to get her eyebrows done - probably Monday after school.

So... are your kids out of school yet or still drumming along like mine?

We are out. June 10th was the last day here. We had to make up 1 cold weather day. My lawyer told me to take a vacation, so we are taking off on Monday and going down to my parents for a week. While there I have to look for a job, get the kids enrolled in their new schools etc besides trying to relax. The hearing is July 17th to tell us whether or not we can move or not but my lawyer wants all this stuff taken care of now to show the judge I'm being responsible.

Hello Everyone,

It has been awhile for me and I do apologize. Just been having some difficult days lately...that whole grieving process. I miss my mom terribly.

Anyway, our schools finish up this week. Laurie, Kristen had her 8th grade dance last night (pictures below). What a fun time she had. We also have a very busy week. Kristen has 8th grade graduation on Thursday night and Jason has his high school graduation on Friday night. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. We're having a family party here on Saturday.

Laurie, can't wait to see some pictures and I know you are crazy busy with soccer. When do the girls finish up with soccer for the summer? Any trips to the shore this summer?

Barb, sorry for what you are going through. You and Roni both look great in those pictures.

Joanne, Good luck with the new house. Sounds like Jaylee is adjusting to her new surroundings.

Lisa, Kristen's absolutely gorgeous! Did she have a good time at her dance? Melissa's is Wednesday night and she can't wait. No boyfriend... or even crush right now (which is fine with me!), so she'll spend the night hanging out w/ her friends.

(((((HUGS))))) I don't know what to say about you and missing your mom other than to let you know I'm thinking of you.

Our soccer season finishes up next Sunday. Sarah's team is kicking butt in their flight (3)... 7-0-1 record, 21 points. They'll win their flight because the team in 2nd place right now can't beat them even if Sarah's team loses their last two games and the second place team wins their last games. They'll be bumped up to flight 1 in the Fall. This season, Melissa's team will end up in the middle of their flight (3) and Krissy's team is probably going to come in 5 out of 6 in their flight (4).

Congratulations to Jason on his upcoming HS graduation. Can you believe our girls are headed there in the Fall? Wow! Time flies! :o)
