OMG!  $4.55 at our less expensive gas station!  That's INSANE!!  I just thank my lucky stars DH has a work car/gas expense this year!  We'd be in so much trouble right now!!

$4.09 is the average here (Indiana - not far from Chicago). My van takes E85 which I found for $2.99 the other day, but it's less efficient and I feel like my van doesn't run as smooth when it's on E85. Anyone else use flex fuel or switch between fuels?

WOW!  Where do you live?  I live in the Cali Bay Area, and it's only around $4.25 at our favorite gas station.  But that's still too much!

i use E85 and i actually did my own little study with it before gas went up.  i filled up with regular and seen how far a tank got me and then with E85 and i went 24 more miles on the E85. and it is cheaper

so that is what i have been using.  it is 3.23 right now
